The Dawning Restoration of Masculine
V. Four Levels of Spiritual Gender
A. Primary Personal Gender
Everyone born into God's Kingdom is born with a primary spiritual gender. "Primary" means that this gender is the overriding nature that characterizes a believer's perception of God, his basis of relating to the rest of the Church, and provides the governing context that shapes His destiny in God. It determines how one hears from God and interprets God's will and purposes for Him.
In turn, as "birds of a feather flock together," those who are born after the nature of one gender tend to group together while those born of the opposite nature also group together. So it is that the people of God are divided into two unrecognized camps based on either primary masculine or feminine spirituality.
1. Feminine Spirit Believers
Most believers are born again with the primary feminine spirit. Their lives are shaped and characterized mainly by the qualities that mark spiritual femininity. These believers emphasize the element of human response in establishing and maintaining relationship with God. They relate primarily to God's grace, mercy, and compassion in His dealings with man. Their awareness is centered on the good things of this life whereby God desires to bless and prosper His people.
Feminine spirit believers have a love that is body-focused, majoring on the positive and encouraging. Their approach to sin within the body is conciliatory. Any sense of God's judgment they have is reserved for the world.
Such believers draw their sense of identity in Christ mainly from their relationship to one another. They have a strong sense of corporate identity and dwell on themes of body unity. They discourage individualism.
People of the feminine spirit major on their identifiable function in the body and place weight on the importance of positions, callings, and offices. Their sense of eternal purpose tends to be somewhat diffused, their sense of mission is earth-focused—measured in terms of present, visible influence on the world for good.
Feminine believers verify their access to the mind of God through one another. They desire to preserve and protect what gains they have made in God as defined by the truth preached among them presently. They are followers by nature, not leaders. What leadership they have proceeds slowly, is based only on consensus, and without consensus does not move.
2. Masculine Spirit Believers
Masculine spirit believers are by contrast of an entirely different nature. These emphasize God's sovereign prerogative in establishing and maintaining relationship with man. They relate to God primarily through their sense of obligation and obedience to His standards. Their awareness of relationship to the world is governed by their knowledge of God's justice and severity. Their own relationship with God begins in the fear of the Lord. Their knowledge of God is based in their understanding of His moral will and eternal purpose for their lives.
Masculine believers have a love that is focused directly in Christ without respect to man. Their approach to sin is direct, holding men personally responsible for their plight, and is focused within the body beginning with themselves. Masculine believers draw their sense of identity in Christ directly from their personal relationship to Him.
Such believers confirm all truth and affirm God's purpose for them the same way. Their vision is highly intense and individualistic. Their orientation to God's purpose is internally focused with a view to His future kingdom. They do not major on influencing the present evil world and earthbound situations.
Masculine believers are always pushing out from the present status quo revelation, pioneering recovery of lost truth which serves as a focus for division. Because of their directness and individualism of spirit, their life experience is marked by perpetual rejection, misunderstanding, suffering, deprivation, and lonely isolation outside the majority feminine bodies.
“Masculines” are “people of the wilderness” and of “the desert.” They grasp spiritual truth quickly, and are therefore forced to harbor it in secret outside the mainstream encampments of the church because of its immediate unacceptibility. They are leaders who press forward into God with or without consensus and refuse to be deterred by those who cannot identify with their internalized sense of spiritual conviction and direction.
As marvelous as these primary personal genders are within themselves, they are utterly incomplete by themselves. Unfortunately, each gender is slow to perceive its own incompleteness though it is quick to spot the incompleteness and grave deficiencies in the other.
Yet it is the revelation of the incompleteness of one's own primary gender of spirit that holds the key to fulfilling the goal of spiritual marriage. Only as spiritual masculinity and femininity have their eyes opened to their need for one another can they reach perfection. God intends to bring rejected masculine saints together with open-hearted feminine bodies of saints.
This intended marriage dovetails with God's intention to bring the entire Church into the third dimension of restoration. In the present second dimension the feminine bodies have developed by themselves, separated from the masculine sons who have been relegated to isolation. Yet God has prepared a remnant from each of these major streams of gender to enter together through marriage into the third dimension marked by the restoration of spiritually masculine government in the Church.
As the remnant of each primary gender has faithfully responded to God's personal dealings apart from the other, they have been enabled to come forth into new union with one another. Both feminine and masculine saints have seen God knock the hard chips of gender pride off their natures, chips which have manifested like the self-protective quills of a porcupine that have prevented them from receiving one another in Christ.
God is now breaking down this wall and tearing this veil. The wall that has separated the sons of God and daughters of God is the veil that has separated the people of God from the third dimension!
As the era of restored masculine spiritual authority dawns and God brings the prepared desert sons and daughter bodies together in marriage, the stage is set that will bring both sons and daughters into the ultimate perfection that gives them new sexless resurrection bodies and fits them for complete union with Christ. This is the sonship dimension, also called the manifestation of the sons of God (Rom. 8:19).
It is the sonship era because for the first time since the founding apostles passed away, masculine spiritual authority will be restored to visible dominance in the Church. The churches will no longer be subject to their aimless worldly morasses run by Jezebels and Ahabs. The sons will no longer be outcast. Each will have been perfected enough where they can begin to come together.
But the opening of this new dimension is just that—a beginning. The remainder of the dimension will be given to the visible perfecting of the sons and daughters just like in natural marriage. The end of this dimension will yield the fruit of those who have totally subsumed all the qualities of the opposite sex into their being, fitting them for translation and union with Christ.
