Key to Understanding the Church Age

B. Tracing the Path of Development
Aside from considering the historical deficiencies of the Woman and Manchild saints, we also want to review this past age to see how God has ministered in various seasons more predominantly to the building of each. The stuff and issues of which controversy have been made clearly appears as a marvelous pattern. Each issue of contention has been God speaking toward bringing greater perfection to the spiritual genes within the Woman or the Manchild.
Wherever God has brought forth a word, issue, or movement that has challenged the church to greater holiness, separation from the world, clarity of identity in the Father, or a view toward the life to come, He has been ministering to the development of the Manchild. Here is a sampling of some historic issues:

Consider also the issues of controversy that have brought forth the Woman saints unto greater identity, purity, and earth-based effectiveness. These are the issues that have pointedly ministered as a burden “man to man,” to the soul and body or else through the soul unto the needs of others in this life:

Keep in mind we are purposely overlooking the native weaknesses, incompleteness, and abuses in each of these emphases to observe God's hand in each unto the developing His remnant Woman and Manchild of the final hour. Also note that depending on one’s perspective, aspects or elements of the above ministrations might be considered to belong to the “opposite sex.”
We make two other observations:
1) There is often a “cross pollinating” overlap in some ministries toward both Woman and Manchild issues [for example, Wesley was a great evangelist of the simple faith (Woman ministry), yet a great preacher of inner sanctification and perfection, the forerunner of manifested son teaching (Manchild ministry)]. And this is as it should be. We should all be showing signs of Manchild development and Woman development toward the Lord’s complete “chromosomal” image.
2) Not everyone who has inherited the accumulated conglomeration of Mother-based or Manchild-based teachings has profited from them. Most have not.
For instance, most evangelicals are inheritors of the Mother-based simple faith gospel message, but are neither evangelistic nor practice the great commission. At the same time, they are inheritors of the Manchild-based teachings on the imminency of Christ's return, but few are watching for Him or expecting Him any time soon. In short, the teachings are simply not part of their practice.
This is because few of those who hear teaching actually absorb it into their lives, whether it be “X”-based or “Y”-based doctrine. The doctrinal beliefs of most people are but mute testimonies to the actual genetic life behind those teachings, a life received only by a remnant.
C. The Age of the Spiritual Woman
The final historical observation we must make concerning all these works of God is that this age has been the "Age of the Woman." It is the Woman who is seen. The Manchild is hidden within her. For this cause, it is the emphases of Mother-based teachings that have gained most public and historical notoriety.
When histories of the church are written, it is the visible mothering Church that is almost always studied. The hidden Manchild church is virtually overlooked. Indeed, comparatively few records of the Manchild church survive to write about. The more earth-based teachings of the Woman Church also hold more appeal to the flesh, therefore have more followers and are more popular.
Because this is the Age of the Woman, the practices of the feminine body have prevailed throughout the church age. This prominence applies to the following practices among others:
- elevation of the office of pastor as the focal head of leadership in the Church,
- focus on accommodating the earthly needs and comforts of the saints in worship, beginning with the erecting of suitable buildings ("churches") as places of worship,
- establishment of clear lines of authority in the Church through appointments to positions marked by artificial titles (ex: "reverend," "licensed,""member,")
- the highly visible interaction of the Church in the political and economic earth affairs (e.g., Church incorporation for legal and economic purposes.)
Since the founding apostolic bearers of the Father word fell asleep, and the church became left to the preeminence of the mothering Spirit word, the Woman-based Church has been universally characterized by the above things.
The Manchild still awaits his age. That is the age where Father authority and discipleship is the rule in a kingdom governed, not by flawed mortals holding positions and titles oriented toward satisfying the earth-needs of men, but by immortals whose authority is manifest through the completion of sanctification unto glorification, whose focus is in the identity of Christ, not in the affairs of this life.
Though the church age has manifested itself as the age of the spiritual Woman because of devotion only to the Spirit's "X" word, God intends to bring forth and establish His kingdom through a people who have gone on to fully receive and embrace the Word of the Father, but who are also yet found within Her midst, not isolated out in the desert.
D. Return of the Manchild
For most of this age, the Woman has lived as a harlot. It has taken generations since before the Reformation to bring forth a Woman pure enough to even begin receiving back into her womb the developing Manchild company, much less identify with that company.
Now, glory upon glory and wave upon wave of the Spirit's work is being heaped upon the Woman in preparation for her birthing of the Manchild. (The most up-to-date glory is that now being released upon Her through the prophetic movement.)
Nevertheless and all anointing notwithstanding, it is the fully ripened, matured Manchild people within the Woman whom God has ordained to bring forth into glorification. It is in these He will reveal His manifest authority in the earth.
It is in fact for the Manchild's sake that the Woman's glory exists. Presently, the Woman sees that glory in terms of Herself. She is as a whole blind to the Manchild within her for whom the full purpose and benefit of that glory is given.
Not only is the Woman's glory mainly for the Manchild's nourishment, but it actually enables the Woman to receive and keep that Manchild people within her midst til they can be born.
Remember, the Word of the Father is an offense to the Woman. She has not fundamentally surrendered to it though She may even ascribe to some of it. Consequently, the Manchild people holding forth the Father's word have entered a spiritual realm that is imponderable to those without it. The Woman cannot understand the Manchild.
Those of the unfertilized Spirit's "egg" cannot relate to those who have received the Father's "sperm" unto conceived sonship. This is why the Woman in her unglorified state with remaining adulterous proclivities has been historically prone to reject the Manchild.
But God has been gradually purifying the Woman and increasing her glory within the limitations of her nature. Such has been the purpose of the last 500 years of Church restoration. This gradual purifying has worked to enable her to receive back Manchild disciples in spite of herself, disciples to whom she is otherwise unable to relate. She may not understand them, but the glory is sedating Her enough that she is oblivious to them in her midst, and so unoffended.
At the same time, the Manchild people who have returned and/or are lately being developed within Her Womb are learning to cease raising their voice in offense. They know their time is dawning and the lines have been drawn. "Women will be Women." There is no more point in rebuking the unbelieving Woman as long as She is not intent on actively persecuting Her developing Sons.
In short order, God will reveal the Manchildren and bring their identity to light (Ps. 37:7; Mt 13:43). They have listened to the Father to submit to the Woman and keep receiving the nourishment of the Spirit's glory upon her (Isa. 66). Their soul is as a weaned child (Ps. 131:2).
These recognize that their continued need for final nourishment by Her glory is more important than contending with the Woman for failure to enter their same estate. This is how the present glory on the Woman is working to keep the two together in spite of their spiritual differential—all in preparation for the Manchild's birth.
E. Isaiah 62:5 Pre-Marriage Underway
The return of the Manchild to the womb of the glorious Woman answers to the development of the courtship and marriage of the sons to Zion prophesied by Isaiah and on which this original message was based. In this return, there has indeed been cause for rejoicing between the two, even though the mutual understanding has not come into its place as afore described, and the “marriage” be fraught with tensions and growing pains.
Yet that a courtship and marriage has begun is clear. The greatest evidences of this growing marriage have been seen where once outcast desert prophets of the wilderness such as Paul Cain have been received back into the headship of large prophetic bodies of saints such as at Kansas City. Similar returns from the desert have occurred in many other corporate places.
In a way, the meaningful marriage between the Woman and the Manchild sons is played out at the “border” between the fetus and the womb into which He has been received back. It is at this border that the greatest rejoicing occurs as Woman saints and Manchild saints show the greatest appreciation for one another, and Woman saints actually move into the place of receiving the Word of the Father to become fully joined to and part of the Manchild.
This cross border interchange is working to bring the Manchild to “full term.” The Manchild company grows as more and more Woman saints at womb’s edge make their own full identity conversion to the Father under Manchild influence amidst the increasingly glorious Churches, streams and movements. Eventually, a critical point of marriage will have been reached where the “friend of the bridegroom” ministry has been completed, full term is reached, and Manchild is birthed into glorified union with the Lord.Meanwhile however, the Woman Herself (those of her cells furthest from Her womb), yet does not understand what is happening within Her though She is carrying this Man baby. To this degree there is friction in the courtship and some remaining offense and even unbelief. The Woman Herself as a whole will not become the Manchild by the time He is birthed. She will not have timely received the “Y” word. But afterward, Manchild will return to help Her in Her desert of tribulation. And another greater post-tribulational joining and marriage will later be realized.
