Foundations For Understanding Government - 2
Authority Seated in the Atonement, the Priesthood and the Lamb
The greatest truth to impress me at this hour is the importance of the atonement to divine government, and in turn to all government. Historically, "authority" and "atonement" are estranged ideas in our minds. We do not consider them to be of the same class of divine attribute. We do not think of them in the same "spiritual breath."
But the Lord is ready to open new windows of understanding about this because things we have been waiting for depend on it. New vision for the meaning of the gospel of atonement as never before applied to human government is now coming forth. In this article, we will more closely examine how the idea of authority is entirely rooted in that of atonement such that they are inseparable.
The Prevenience of the Atonement
18 ...you were... redeemed... 19 ...with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. 20 ...foreordained before the foundation of the world...
Before there was Creation, there was atonement.
Before there was law, there was atonement.
Before there was government, there was atonement.
The atonement precedes all demonstration of authority, especially in relation to the Creation. The slaying of the Lamb is in the mind of God the fountain from which all creation and its story spring forth.
The True "Plan A"
The prevenience of the atonement ahead of creation tells us something we have never considered before due to a logic barrier. Our logic says that originally, God had a "Plan A" in which He made the sinless creation and designed sinless man to grow up through it into the increasing knowing of God.
But because sin entered, Plan A failed. God was now unable to follow through with this plan and it became incumbent on Him to implement a "Plan B" to rescue the failed "Plan A." Plan B was the atonement through the death of Christ. The atonement, being but a "Plan B" was merely a secondary corrective remedy to the creational plight under human sin.
This thinking, as said, is natural and reasonable. But it is not in keeping with the whole revealed counsel of God. In God's mind, the atonement was thought of ahead of the Creation. It preceded and took precedence over the Creation. In this fact, the atonement was the true Plan A from before the beginning. What appears to us as the natural Plan A was never Plan A to God. It was a prototypical "beta test" plan only. God knew that plan would fail. It was never His design that the beta test should succeed.
Rather, the "beta test" plan was only implemented to give room for the true Plan A which was the slaying of the Lamb unto the ultimate demonstration of His divine magnificence with all the glory and power and authority that slaying would produce before a witnessing universe.
In God's mind, there never was a "Plan B." The atonement was always God's Plan A. And in its planned display rooted in the inscrutable eternal counsels, all of God's majesty and authority was to be seen to flow from it.
That is what we have failed to see. In God's mind, the independent sin found in satan and in men after creation was but a trigger for initiating the original Plan of atonement and the evoking of its ultimate glory.
But because of our misimpression regarding a "Plan A/ B" that assigns to the atonement a purely emergency role for a failed first plan, we have not seen how all ordained authority flows from the atonement which precedes it. Today, we will see it.
The Preeminence of the Lamb
Because of the prevenience of His priestly atoning role, the Lord in His rulership is always seen as a slain Lamb. This has always puzzled me. Why always a Lamb? Why never "the Lion?" He is called a Lion on occasion, but He is always finally seen and referred to as the Lamb. Take a look at this:
Rev. 5:5 and one of the elders said to me, "Stop weeping; behold, the Lion that is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome so as to open the book and its seven seals." 6 And I saw between the throne (with the four living creatures) and the elders a Lamb standing as if slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent out into all the earth.
For us this does not make sense. Power is invested in a Lion, not a Lamb. It is foolish to think otherwise. But that is always heaven's way—to be contrary to the way of earth.
It is not as we say then, "He came before as a Lamb but will come again as a Lion." No. He came as a Lamb before in meekness. And He will come again as a Lamb in wrath.
Rev. 6:16 and they said to the mountains and to the rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the presence of Him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb.
Whether in meekness or wrath, He is still finally the Lamb. The early power of submission is in the Lamb. But the latter power of judgment is also in the Lamb. The authority is finally in the Lamb. And for this cause, His kingship is ultimately seated in His priesthood.
Authority Seated in the Priesthood
That the core of Christ's authority is seated in His priesthood as the slain Lamb follows through regarding His description of the priestly and kingly roles of His people. Consider this well known verse:
I Pt. 2:9 but you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
Peter's word is derived from Exodus 19:6:
And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.
Note how He calls us "a kingdom of priests," not "a priesthood of kings." Likewise, we are called "a royal priesthood," not a "priestly royalty." The noun is predominant. The adjective is auxiliary. The adjective points to the noun.
In other words, our adjective authority as "kings" and "royalty" is in our fundamental identity as priests. Our kingliness is derived from our priesthood, and flows from it. (We are not fundamentally kings.)
This in turn is why the first basis of our overcoming is "the blood of the Lamb" followed by "the word of our testimony" (Rev. 12:11). Our testimony (i.e, our "law") is authorized by our precedent priestly power of atonement found in our relationship to the blood of Christ.
Furthermore, any change in the priesthood thus effects a change in the law (Heb. 7:12), not the other way around. A change is coming to our priesthood, to our perception of it, and to our operation by it. That change will affect our law, our word, our testimony, and in turn our government in the earth.
We speak of this in more detail in a later section. But it is in the power of our changed priesthood that our law will finally supersede and replace all law of the nations.
The Historical Development of Human Government Relative to Atonement
As we have shown, before there was government, there was the Lamb slain from before the foundation of the world. And as also shown, ultimate earthly authority and power will manifestly devolve from the slain Lamb.
In the interim however is a fascinating story outlining the development of earthly government relative to atonement.
Atonement was sown into human consciousness before human government was established. This is first imparted in the garden when the Lord slays animals to cover the sin of Adam and Eve.
Gen. 3:21 The LORD God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife, and clothed them.
The Lord Himself established the precedent that prior to establishing any other kind of human societal order, atonement must be acknowledged and paid homage.
So it is that all justice among men must flow from the atonement. Atonement was intended to be part of man's understanding of government from its inception.
The Slaying of Abel
At the same time as God institutes atonement at the base of all societal order, we are introduced to what happens when man rejects God's appointed means of atonement.
Gen. 4:3 So it came about in the course of time that Cain brought an offering to the LORD of the fruit of the ground. 4 Abel, on his part also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of their fat portions. And the LORD had regard for Abel and for his offering ; 5 but for Cain and for his offering He had no regard. So Cain became very angry and his countenance fell... 8 Cain told Abel his brother. And it came about when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him.
When atonement is rejected, the result is a reaction of "anti-atonement," ie, atonement toward satan by human bloodshed which is called murder. (Consider that the word atonement means "to be made at-one-with." Anti-atonement through murder makes us one with satan in place of God.)
This is what Cain accomplished by his rejection of divinely appointed atonement. Murder among men is an anti-atonement reaction to the rejection of true atonement through the slaying of a lamb.
In the millenniums since, societies have proceeded to build government on false forms of atonement or on no atonement (ie, a secularized government.) Secular Murder (abortion) and false religious bloodshed / sacrifice remain part of societies where God's atonement is rejected. (We will cover this more in the next article.)
Going forward in history, either a sheep dies or a man dies. Where atonement is not practiced through animal bloodshed, anti-atonement through murder prevails.
Human Government Built on Atonement.
After the Flood, we find our first evidence for the institution of civil government.
Gen. 9:5 "Surely I will require your lifeblood; from every beast I will require it. And from every man, from every man's brother I will require the life of man. 6 "Whoever sheds man's blood, By man his blood shall be shed, For in the image of God He made man.
Interesting. We see that the first institution of justice is laid on the issue of capital punishment. The concept of capital punishment is by nature one of atonement. Blood must be shed to avenge blood, that is, the bloodshed due to false atonement. Thus justice itself is about atonement. The primary judicial atonement prescribed is to correct the foundational crime of anti-atonement—murder.
What is still more interesting is that God's institution of human justice is set in context of the very first act of primary atonement coming off the ark:
Gen. 8:15 Then God spoke to Noah, saying, 16 "Go out of the ark, you and your wife and your sons and your sons' wives with you. 18 So Noah went out, and his sons and his wife and his sons' wives with him. 20 Then Noah built an altar to the LORD, and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar. 21 The LORD smelled the soothing aroma; and the LORD said to Himself, "I will never again curse the ground on account of man, for the intent of man's heart is evil from his youth; and I will never again destroy every living thing, as I have done.
A pattern emerges:
- True atonement is made (animal sacrifice).
- False atonement (murder) appears where true atonement is rejected.
- Secondary atonement (capital punishment) is prescribed to correct and remedy false atonement.
Justice meted out through civil law is thus a secondary level of corrective atonement, necessitated by the failure to observe primary atonement which yields crimes of anti-atonement against nature requiring punishment.
Atonement and Debt
All other compensatory justice on which civil government is built flows from this foundational application of secondary atonement regarding capital punishment. The concept of secondary atonement extends therefore not just to all crimes, but to all obligations under contracts and covenants.
In finance and economy, the lack of primary atonement leads to perpetual debt and ultimately to the commercialization of mankind. Monetary enslavement results from failure to observe the atonement of the Lamb just as does murder and all crime. This too necessitates secondary means of financial atonement.
Debt requires secondary atonement. As murder must be avenged, so debt must be repaid. There must be a ransom or remedy of some kind. Through the spirit of primary atonement, debt may first be prevented.
But if it is yet succumbed to, debt may be primarily forgiven by grace. Bankruptcy is one process that allows for this. Otherwise, indebtedness may be secondarily punished through forced servitude, debtor's prison or other forms of monetary punishment leading to more financial enslavement.
Where debt is not prevented, debt can only be forgiven or punished until repaid. Where true atonement is recognized, the spirit of debt forgiveness may prevail. Where it is not recognized or rejected, secondary punitive atonement prevails through enslavement.
There is ultimately no way to release debt without appeal to the forgiving atonement of the Lamb.
Abraham to Moses: The Story of Israel
In the period from Abraham through Moses, after men departed from God since Noah, God performs a major development in restoring the original concept of primary atonement relative to the secondary atonements of civil and criminal justice. For the first time, primary atonement through the slaying of animals is brought to the fore of a fully codified form of civil government rooted in the revelation of God to man. What was planted as a seed in Genesis 9 with Noah is brought to full blossom in a nation of people sprung from one man. This is the story of Israel.
Crystallizing in the Mosaic Law, primary atonement is established at the heart of Israel's governmental system as the first level remedy, above the secondary remedies of punishment for civil and criminal transgressions. The remedies for sin against God and the secondary remedies of punishments among men are brought together in one civil law order.
It is for this reason the story of Israel was and remains so central to God's dealing with mankind. The only history of importance to God is the history that displays the primary atonement rooted in the Lamb slain from before the foundation of the world. Israel was the chosen situs for this display. God's work and message through Israel to the rest of mankind becomes paramount in God's purpose to establish His Lamb's preeminence in Creation.
[We cannot leave this introduction to Israel's story without noting how, by contrast, Islam has no core plan of atonement as practiced by Abraham for obtaining reconciliation with the Creator. This singular fact demonstrates that Islam does not stand as the heir to the Abrahamic faith. The truth of Islam's place relative to that of Israel's can only be rightly esteemed by its relationship to the practice of primary atonement—the established core practice of the Abrahamic faith predating Islam by thousands of years.]
The Atonement of Christ, the Gospel and the Times of the Gentiles
Outside of Israel, the peoples of the world continued to practice secondary atonement through civil and criminal law, either with respect to false primary atonement practices (sacrifices to other gods), or without reference to primary atonement at all (secular government).
Meanwhile, Israel abandoned its faithfulness to the order of primary atonement set up through the Mosaic Law. Instead, Israel gave itself over to the atone-less ways of the surrounding Gentile world among whom it found itself. That is a one paragraph summary of the Old Testament period from Moses forward.
Resulting from this abandonment, God established the period known as the Times of the Gentiles beginning under Nebuchadnezzar. Under the powers established in these times, no atonement or false atonement has been instituted into the legal and financial system, while what was left of the Jewish primary atonement system was left to languish in impotence.
Nevertheless, Jesus Christ, "came in the fullness of time" to fulfil in time the universal atonement established before the foundation of the world!
"Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!" Jn. 1:29
Gal.4:4 But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, 5 so that He might redeem those who were under the Law..
Significantly, Christ was put to death as the Lamb of God through murder—i.e., false atonement to satan. Atonement was effected through an act of anti-atonement. In this, satan was responsible for his own demise. He slew himself when he slew the Lamb.
From that time forward, the message of the primary atonement through the death and resurrection of Christ overtook and replaced the demonstration of primary atonement through animal sacrifices in the mind of God. For this was the consummate action toward which all history had been ordained. This replacement was sealed by the nearly immediate subsequent destruction of the Jewish sacrificial system at the hand of the Romans.
The message of this eternally satisfying atonement in payment for all sin and indebtedness was named the Gospel. The Gospel was ordained to be proclaimed to all peoples for the eternal salvation of their spirits and souls beyond death. This is the one paragraph summary of the New Testament on the heels of the Old.
But the question begged by the new Gospel was,
"What power was the effected atonement of Christ and its spiritually authoritative message designed to have on and relative to the remaining order of atone-less human governments still governing mortal man?"
For with the destruction of Jerusalem and Israel's sacrificial system, the earth was once again—for the first time since Moses—without any governmental arrangement that wed primary atonement to the secondary atoning remedies of civil and criminal justice.
It is toward answering this question that the rest of this article is devoted.
The Lamb's Atonement under the Shadow of Gentile Governments I:
The Papacy and the Holy Roman Empire
Significantly, although the Lamb brought to manifestation His pre-creational atonement for all sin and transgression, we see no immediate authoritative clash in which the Atoning One moves to overpower the atone-less governments He is to eventually destroy and replace. This mystery is important to unveil, for, as of this writing, we remain under the shadow of this arrangement.
After 2000 years, and despite its almost virtual worldwide spread, the power of the eternally atoning Gospel has remained hemmed in by the power of natural earthly government. World history, particularly western history, has witnessed a titanic struggle between the Gospel and human government throughout this period. But human government remains in dominant force.
During this age, attempts were and have been repeatedly made to establish a "gospelized" version of what ancient Israel knew through the wedding of animal atonement to civil law. Visionaries of such weddings envisioned "gospel takeovers" of earthly governments to the point of establishing celebration of the Lord's Supper (the "mass") at the heart of gentile civil government for the spiritual atoning of all society.
In particular, the Roman Catholic Church's early conquest of western governments to establish its priesthood's (ie, the Papacy's) supremacy over the state with the "atoning" mass at the compulsory heart of society seemed to those generations to fulfil what Revelation envisioned. It was thought the "Lamb of God" through "the Pope" was indeed taking over the world as God intended and prophesied—that the atoning kingdom of God was really here.
But in reality, the state's co-opting by the church yielding the deaths of millions turned out merely to be the Gospel's co-opting by the carnal power of the civil state. Gentile government was only reinforced, not replaced by its wedding to the church—leaving this age still without the true promised establishment of the Lamb's authority over the earth's peoples. All that had been accomplished was the creation of a cleverly disguised false atonement (murderous) state under color of Christ's spiritual atonement—answering to the bloody harlot of Revelation 17. (This harlot will yet be seen again.)
Over time, the inevitable fractures developed in the hybridized atoning gospel and carnal human government system leading to its demise, and the return of all governments to open secular atone-less authority.
The Lamb's Atonement under the Shadow of Gentile Governments II:
Since the Papacy's Defrocking
Today, and since the failure of all church attempts to wed spiritual atonement to civil government, the Gospel's alternating historic silence or abuses respecting atone-less human government has left us to blindness wherein we now think of the atonement only spiritually but not at all governmentally.
This silence has led to inferior attitudes regarding the atonement's relationship to human government. One concentrates only on the internal spiritual aspect toward glorification without concern for direct challenge to human government. Another holds vision for engaging government, but not based in the atonement, which it sees as a separate and even inferior concept relative to the politics of human kingdom.
But now, despite the past abuses and alternations with silence, the Lord is ready to correct all blindness to bring the Gospel's inherent governmental authority to the forefront of confrontation with atone-less governmental structure as seen in Revelation—and not from the power of carnal execution.
This new expression will answer to several apocalyptic concepts already presented through this ministry, including that of the next revelation of Christ, the new law, the next change of the priesthood and the Gospel II.
The Harvest Pattern: True Atonement Authority Development in the Church Age
Underneath the cacophony of church history already described, the atonement's true governmental authority has been hidden. This is because God's plan for the revelation of His Son's atoning authority purposely does not operate on principles of immediate cause and effect. The Gospel works instead according to the creational pattern of harvest—a pattern that begins with a hidden planting leading to an eventual outward supplanting of the ground underneath which it is first buried.
This is why after these many generations since Christ's death the Gospel has not yet produced true and open contest with the kingdoms of this world still marked by murder and false atonement. This inside-out operation of Christ's atonement since Calvary has led to the aforementioned misunderstanding of the atonement's relationship to present civil government.
In the infancy of the harvest process, atonement authority is unseen, even as one looks out over a field in early spring and sees nothing. The planting is underground and secret, conducted primarily in the hearts of men, leading to occasional ancillary effects on human government over the last 2,000 years.
This is why the Gospel has always been targeted to the hearts of men. And of course fitting was Christ's picture that He must first die in the ground, but if He die, His atonement should bring forth much fruit. This is a prophetic reference to the end of the age harvest in conjunction with His government. The connection between His death and His ultimate governmental victory shows us the intrinsic connection between atonement and government.
Throughout this period of hiddenness, there has been either no or false application of atoning authority to human government. No command was instituted to create such an application. And believers were otherwise commanded to submit to human government under this period.
The Revelational Changeover: Harvest of Atonement Authority in the End Times
But as the end of the age draws near, the direct authority claims of the atonement against human government becomes unveiled in true spiritual power. The power of the blood of Christ unto eternal life is to be applied against the powers of human kingdoms under the Times of the Gentiles, bringing those times to an end—and not via any human "sacrament" or "political action committee."
The end time global system is marked both by extreme murder / abortion and the commercialization of mankind under debt. Revelation testifies to an end time church that wields the power of the blood of the Lamb and its testimony against this atone-less world government which has come to its fullness of iniquity in failure of mandate to administer justice among men.
At the end of the atonement's "growing season," the Lamb Himself rises to destroy in wrath the atone-less kingdoms of this world. This is the harvest of iniquity and the trampling of the blood of men who have failed to come under the atonement even as the harvest to immortal salvation overtakes those who have received the completed benefits of the atonement after so many generations underground.
All this is conducted as a joint operation between the angels and the saints both on the earth and glorified. This confrontation answers to the takedown of the statute of Nebuchadnezzar and the Mosaic deliverance from the systems of Pharaoh in the earth.
As the commercial system has arisen toward the enslavement of all men, so too has the Spirit begun revealing the atonement's power against gentile government. A spiritual military action combining the Gospel with legal revelation toward the thwarting of commercial government has begun, albeit still quite hidden and formative.
The satanic—divine Intertwine behind the Rise and Fall of Atone-less Empire
Central to the church's ability to shift into true governmental application of the atonement over world powers is the ability to understand
1) the divine / satanic relationship behind human kingdoms and
2) the limited early harvest period contexts of Romans 13 and I Peter 2 relative to civil government.
We must perceive the difference between the spirits of Daniel and Elijah, between Joseph and Moses, and the riddle of God's raising up Pharaoh only to destroy him.
- The satan Factor in the Establishment of Government
Scripture makes clear that God is the ultimate establisher of civil government. This is not only seen in Genesis 9 with the institution of the very first government, but is reaffirmed by Daniel and by Paul.
At the same time, scriptures make clear that the kingdoms of this world are in the hands of the power of darkness. This is not only witnessed by satan's testimony—a testimony undisputed by Jesus—but is also reaffirmed by Paul and John.
This presents us a convoluted picture which is cause for great confusion and consternation in the church, leading to undiscerning exaltations or oppositions to human government.
In reality, governments are raised under the overlordship of God but through the superintendent agency of satan. In this arrangement Satan stands in a subservient yet unavoidable role within God's highest sovereign purposes.
All human government is intrinsically and unavoidably subject to satan through the flesh under the law of sin and death and is established by carnal human energies, including war. This is due to man's original assignment to satan of his authority over creation at the fall. It is this fact to which satan bears testimony and which Jesus does not contest.
Nevertheless, satan's ability to establish and mold government is subject to God's higher purpose in allowing the establishment and policies of carnally energized men. Such energies may be co-opted by God's anointings for leadership and wisdom on appointed men, as well as by strategic angelic intervention designed to steer governmental developments and actions. In this, men remain accountable for their application of the knowledge of good and evil through civil law as moral beings directly accountable to God, having been made in His image.
This intertwined arrangement must be understood to grasp the two dimensional role and phase shift that must occur between God's redeemed people and human governments out from whose spirit they have been converted but within whose environs they physically remain.
- The Two Phase Shift
In the early phase of tutelage under mortality, the church is intended to, like Joseph and Daniel, submit to the sovereignly established moral purpose of human government which is to exercise vengeance on evil. Despite its atone-less state, God has assigned a purpose to government for the preservation of civil morality.
But in the late phase of training on approach to immortality, the church is intended to, like Moses and Elijah, exceed submission to the original moral purpose of human government to execute vengeance on the abuse of that office by men who live under tutelage of satan—the one to whom all human government has been given immediate oversight and supervision per Luke 4.
This requires a massive psychological shift, especially in the western mind wherein governments have been historically influenced by the message of the spiritual gospel. Those governments are nevertheless coming to their ultimate expression of atone-less injustice, murder and commercialization yielding their destruction, to which purpose they were sovereignly raised up by God per Romans 9.
Difficulty arises in understanding satanic stewardship of human government under divine oversight and ordination. Discernment between these functions is critical in order to assume proper role and form in the final days of the Lamb's contest with world government.
The Mystery of Divine Elevation of Opponents.
In accord with all we have just seen, the Lord sovereignly raises up the beasts against which He ultimately fights. He raises up His opponents. Satan is the first and chief of these. He is the head of these kingdoms. And he maintains presence before the throne of God as that steward, having been handed it by man at the fall. From this position satan continues to make legal accusations and disputations regarding all men whom God otherwise sets to redeem out from his stewardship.
It is left for us to discern which aspect of motivation behind human government we are dealing with as well as where we are in that scheme. We will not all be at the same point. Early believers will be of conscience for the moral obedience to government as enunciated through Romans 13 and I Peter 2. Believers ready for harvest will be of transcending conscience to challenge the perversion of the role of government under satanic stewardship and empowerment as seen in Revelation 12 and 15.
Ultimately, upon the Lamb's victory to the immortality of His firstfruits, the Lamb's forces cast out satan from before His presence, the corruption of human government becomes total as satan is confined to earth, the people of God stand up in opposition to it, many of whom are slaughtered in martyrdom, but the kingdoms of the statue are finally brought down. The Lamb gains His atonement victory over the kingdoms of this world. The power of the blood is now seen as a weapon of mass destruction against perverted human government.
The atoning lamb reigns. Atonement is consummated in Government. That government comes to earth as it is already in heaven where the atoning Lamb is seated on the Throne. .
Can the reader see where we are headed? You see, I am extremely burdened over the rise of the commercial legal system throughout the earth and its prophesied growing tyranny, and nothing in the church standing up to it or being effective against it:
"Who is like the beast, and who can make war with him?" (Rev. 13:4).
Every day my spirit is more vexed over the oppressiveness of human commercial government upon us in all sectors, with no relief in sight through anything called "prophetic." Everything called "prophetic" and "kingdom" over the last 25 years has done little to touch this beast or even make a dent in it. The prophets have prophesied vainglorious follies. We are full of big words, playing around the edges of superficial "elections" while the system just grinds on its merry way undisturbed by anything we call "faith." Why?
It is against this burden that the Father has begun opening my eyes to the yet veiled, unrecognized, untapped power of the atonement hidden in plain sight in Revelation. Our people have never made a true spiritual "authority connect" to the atonement in order to effectually deal with human government.
But this is about to change. Our gospel is about to change. And much of what I have already seen before about the coming next revelation of Christ and the new "Word" and even the new stewardship economy will be based in this new revelation of the power of the atonement, especially its power for wrath and vengeance and deliverance from forced monetary indebtedness and servitude under the commercialization of mankind.
Kings (including bankers, lawyers and judges) will finally quake and tremble when they hear the name of the Lamb of God, and they will prefer death by stoning to facing His wrath. Their power over mankind through their deceitful collusion will be destroyed.
And when this all finally occurs, we will obey the exhortation of Rev. 18:
20 "Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you saints and apostles and prophets, because God has pronounced judgment for you against her."
In all this, the preeminent role of the Lamb's authority established from before the beginning of creation will come to its intended destined consummation.
It is time to rejoice, to receive new eyes and hearts for walking in step with the Lamb "whithersoever He goes." The message of this article is but one marker to further lead us there.
