Part II

Serpent Seed vs. the Remnant

In course of examining the war between the two seeds of Genesis 3 throughout scripture, we shortly encounter another very compelling reality that continues in parallel flow as this war plays out. That is the concept of remnant.

 

The reality of remnant is tied to the fact that, in course of staking out their turfs over mankind, both satan and Christ are meddling with territory claimed by the other. We already know that both stake out competing claims over the generic field of mankind. But within enclaves of men specifically claimed by each, both satan and Christ make forays into the other’s claimed enclaves. We look at each.

- Serpent Enclaves

Serpent enclaves are enclaves of mankind specifically claimed by satan as prime exclusive turf for planting and reaping his seed. And indeed, in the majority, he succeeds in reaping the vast entirety of those enclaves through his insemination. These enclaves include specific human bloodlines (think Rothschild), cities (think Rome) and nations (think Haiti). On occasion however, Christ will still venture into such serpent holds to claim over to Himself a single soul here or there. (Imagine a spirit game of Capture the Flag or, as we called it growing up, Steal the Pins.)

 

So as, however, not to contradict my previous statement against venturing Sodom’s lairs to save Nephilim, let me quickly state that this is not a vast practice on God’s part to be emulated, though it does occur. A notable Old Testament example of the Father’s redemptive claim from out of a viper nest is the harlot Rahab from Jericho. God’s mind was set on destroying that irredeemable serpent city (which He did), but yet He found to garner to Himself just one grain of wheat from that cursed place.

 

Another extreme example of God’s raid on a serpent seed enclave is His commandeering of Saul of Tarsus out of Talmudic Pharisaism. Saul was technically a member of the “synagogue of satan,” a synagogue set for God’s annihilation. Yet in His superior Purpose, He nevertheless eternally ordained to Himself a precreational child from out of that nest, one whose writings would go on to shake up the entire serpent seed plan for the next two thousand years (and counting). (Paul’s recognition of his redemption from out of that viper nest caused him to shudder before the sovereign grace of God the rest of His life.)   

 

- Enclaves of the Father

Now we look oppositely at the human enclaves of the Father. In reality, the number of human enclaves claimed by the Father through the Seed of Christ is significantly few. In the beginning of history, these enclaves were marked by specific bloodlines from out of bloodlines. The first bloodline from the seed of the woman was that of Seth out from whom eventually came Noah. From Noah then came the bloodline of Shem, from whom then came Abraham, who fathered the core bloodline specifically claimed by the Father by oath on whom the rest of the Father’s plan for bringing forth His precreational seed would be worked out. (Later, the Christ seed enclave became spirit-based, known as the Church, to be discussed.)

 

Notice however, not all of any particular bloodline laid hold by the Father remained true to the calling of the eternal Purpose. In fact only few ever remained from within any particular Christ seed enclave of any time or place or generation. Those who remain, however, are thus called the remnant. (See for example how that Noah was the only surviving remnant of the seed of Seth by the time of the Flood, which would serve as a prophetic picture for the remaining ages.)

 

The fact that only a small remnant from any generational or national enclave of the Seed of Christ ever remain true to the Father’s generic claim on them is testimony to the fact that the serpent is specifically allowed to raid and test each and every human enclave on which the Father lays a claim. Again, Ps. 11:5 speaks to this,

 

The Lord tests the righteous, But the wicked and the one who loves violence His soul hates.

 

This then is the way of the Father’s plan, and who is to question it? We can only recognize it. Satan’s enclaves, except for the occasional rare breach as we studied, are hardly ever tested. His seed is vastly secure and incontrovertible within his enclaves, though hated by God and set for eventual destruction as they are.

 

But the Father’s enclaves are specifically allowed to be invaded by the serpent for planting his own cursed seed in their very midst! This is terrible for those of us called into the Father’s enclaves out of this life! Why does it have to be this way? Why should not our Christ-seed enclaves be at least as secure in producing eternal children to the Father as the serpent’s enclaves are in producing their irredeemable serpent seed? Why are our enclaves so subject to mass defection and departure due to serpent seed plantings, but the serpent’s enclaves rarely lose defectors to be revealed as precreational seed of Christ?

 

The only answer can be that this imbalance is somehow absolutely necessary to bringing forth the eternal precreational seed of the Father, since that is the Father’s entire goal in this whole cosmic matrix. If it weren’t necessary to His plan, He wouldn’t allow it. Thus the eternal seed must be a proven Seed. The way the war between the seeds is allowed to be fought out, giving all the natural advantages to the serpent and all the disadvantages to the Christ-called, is deemed essential to bringing forth the eternal Seed as a remnant only, regardless from what generational enclave of the Father they are drawn.

 

Perceiving Serpent Seed Planting in Divine Enclave

And so this is what we see throughout scripture history right to the end of Revelation. The Father’s precreational ones almost always come forth into their predestined reality only by first becoming part of natural human enclaves generically claimed by the Father, but which are allowed to be tested, invaded and even inseminated with enemy serpent seed! (We did a study on such serpent insemination within the very womb of the Father’s enclave in The Birth of Esau and Jacob: A Prophetic Key to Discerning Christ from Antichrist in the End Time Moves of God. It is highly recommended that one reread this in light of today’s article.)

 

But so from the point of view of the remnant, what does all this mean? What is the charge? What is the burden?

 

If we want to fulfil our destiny as proven precreational eternal Seed of Christ, not only must we be constantly aware of what is happening with our own personal spiritual state in the fear of the Lord, but we must be fully aware of the real serpent seed operation within whatever enclave of Christ we inhabit. This has been a mandate on all remnant Christ seed people from the beginning, but especially since Abraham and Moses, and thence to the spiritually called-out body enclave of the Church. We must perceive this dynamic carefully.

 

The perennial misbelief throughout spiritual history has been that if one is part of a generic human enclave claimed by the Father—whether of Abraham, or Israel, or the Church or some historic subset thereof—he must therefore be guaranteed to be evidence of the Father’s precreational seed. Now we have just proven that, given the serpent’s ability to plant his own seed in every Christ seed enclave, such thinking is entirely false. It is an illusion. But it is over this very idea that God’s enclave people are tested, and it is for the purpose of recognizing the truth about how we are facing this today that this article is written.

 

The Tandem Operation of God and Satan

It is most difficult for us to accept how the Father can allow His eternal purposes to be fulfilled in tandem with satanic serpent operation. The word “testing” captures this mystery. The scripture says that both God and satan test us at the same time over the same issue. Satan is allowed to directly test us in the form of temptation, oppression and deception. Yet God proves what is in us by what He allows satan to do to tempt, oppress and deceive us. The story of Job brings this home.

 

But this is also the way it is for every operation of God regarding His own enclaves of people at whatever time or place. God works in the midst of His people; and satan is allowed to work right behind Him at the same time in the same situation. Satan’s operation may be a matter of trial and difficulty accompanying God’s work, or it may be a matter of ministry deception ready to twist God’s work.

 

God for instance works His wonders by the Holy Spirit, and satan is allowed to work counterfeit wonders at the same time and same place by hijacking Spirit anointing to the glory of the flesh! God can prophesy through a false prophet like Balaam, and satan can prophesy through a true disciple like Peter! Are we starting to get how intertwined this spiritual proving of seeds can be within the Lord’s enclave?

Lesson from Israel Past

As we read the stories of ancient Israel, who were then God’s chosen enclave in fulfilment of the promise to Abraham, we see this constant operation of satanic serpent planting in the midst. Now, satan already had his own enclaves in the rest of the world. Babylon and Egypt and Canaan were examples of those enclaves. Nimrod founded Babylon, Egypt was descended from Ham with his idolatries and so were the Canaanites, filled with their despicable practices. Abraham was called out of Babylon to begin a new enclave dedicated to the Father. And Israel was called out of Egypt as the Father’s further chosen generic enclave, in which Egypt was essentially destroyed, and the Canaanites too as harvested serpent seed were destroyed thereafter.

 

But throughout all this, the serpent was allowed to test Abraham and his offspring on their own turf, within their own community. We know from Ezekiel and from Stephen that, even though Israel was the Lord’s claimed enclave, the serpent had already majorly infested them in Egypt and they carried that infestation with them out of Egypt! And the story only goes downhill from there for the rest of the Old Testament. In every generation of chosen Israel, the Father was proving eternally chosen remnants amidst a people at large who otherwise kept becoming ground for serpent seeding.

 

What did this serpent seeding in Israel entail? It entailed importing into Israel’s worship and culture the abominations of the secret mysteries of the certified serpent enclaves of Egypt and Babylon and the Canaanites around them. This created a thoroughly impure yet still generically chosen Christ seed enclave. Yet that generic choosing guaranteed them nothing in the eternal plan. Peter and Paul tell us as well as the prophets that most of them had to be destroyed as the serpent seed they really proved to be or to be aligned with. Reading the Old Testament annals is to read mainly of serpent seeding operations inside a divine enclave sprinkled with dots and glimpses of eternal remnant children.

 

By the time we get to Jesus, this is the historically entrenched pattern. Jesus has come directly to an enclave chosen to develop God’s eternal precreational seed, but save for the remnant of disciples who prove to be the Father’s true eternal seed, the majority leadership is written off as serpent seed and the majority populace is left to satanic habitation (whom he had otherwise cleansed by His deliverance ministry).

 

Here again, we see the unique dual working between Christ and the serpent at the same time and place over the same generational enclave of the Father. Following the Lord’s ascension, this pattern will continue in Israel until its fall and dispersion. There will be a minority remnant Jewish church, but the majority people will be a nation given over to Talmudic Judaism infested with the mystery religious beliefs of Egypt and Babylon adapted to Jewish nationalism.

Lesson from Church and Modern World History

With the death and resurrection of Jesus, the chosen enclave of the Father for developing His eternal precreational seed moved from a physically national people to a spiritually connected transnational people. That spiritual-physical body was called “the Church.” It consisted of spiritual converts to faith in Christ from both Jews and Gentiles, though Gentiles formed the majority adherents throughout the age to follow.

(To be clear, this transference of the chosen Christ seed enclave to a spiritually based union of gospel believers did not mean God had no more plans to eventually bring a full bodied national remnant of Jewish people into that body. He still does and will, but not until He is ready to consummate this present age by revealing a first generation immortal “Israel” people no longer of this flesh.)

However, the change of enclave gathering from fundamentally physical to spiritual did not affect the operation of war between the two spirit seeds. The war was predicted to proceed as before. The ink was not even dry on the apostolic letters before Gnostic and Talmudic cults based in the ancient mysteries were invading the church. The serpent knew he could plant his seed in the church just as well as in Israel. There was nothing to stop this from happening. Rather, Jesus’ predictions through to the end times told the disciples to expect this.

 

Observe that this serpent seed planting into the fledgling church did not just come from gentile sources in the empire, but also from Jewish sources within Israel and other places like Alexandria, Egypt. This is why Jesus was warning churches in Revelation about the “synagogue of Satan.” The same Jewish brand of serpent seed that put Him to death would be active in subverting the church back under Talmudism.

 

Eventually, through erroneous beliefs inconsistent with everything Jesus taught and that the apostles wrote about authority, the generation of church fathers immediately after the apostles converted the church from a body coached by traveling apostolic workers into a hierarchical structure ruled by a single “bishop” whose authority was certified simply by showing a “chain of succession.”

 

These same fathers also then determined that, since Rome was the most humanly “important” city in the empire, the church and bishop at Rome therefore must also be considered as the “most important and authoritative” of them all, producing what we now call the papacy. And into this papacy under color of the Father’s enclave, the serpent seed began planting its most onerous work, importing the same mysteries from the secret gentile and Jewish enclaves that the serpent seed already claimed.

 

Over the course of church history then, we have had three overall threads of serpent seed nesting in the world—one in the remaining idolatrous serpent enclaves staked out since the flood (e.g., the Greek, Roman, Gothic, Buddhist, Hindu and later Islamic cultures), one in the remnants of Talmudic Judaism, and ultimately the one situated in the Father’s chosen enclave of the Church, most pointedly with the enclave at Rome, incorporating both Gnostic and Talmudic-based doctrines, superstitions, practices and traditions! The rest of history since has been a war between church remnants of various streams and the serpent seed established in the enclaves just listed, further infesting generation to generation, taking over succeeding remnant enclaves down the line (Byzantine, Reformationist, Baptist and Wesleyan to today’s Pentecostal-Charismatic-Prophetic enclaves).

 

On one hand, this convoluted spiritual scenario across the generational remnant bodies has been thoroughly under the Father’s oversight for bringing forth his proven precreationally ordained people, even as all these bodies have been simultaneously ravaged by serpent seed temptation, oppression and deception. All this is now crystallizing toward final showdown between the ultimate seed of serpent—the world renowned man of sin—and the revealed seed sons of God / bride of Christ who together with Christ will crush this serpent’s head and its seed as detailed in Revelation.

 

Everything we need to know about what is happening in the world today as well as what we should be doing is pretty well summed up by this overarching perspective of the serpent seed at work between his own worldly enclaves and his intrusion into the Father’s enclave of the church. There is just one further aspect we must comment on in closing.
